April in the Garden

April things to grow

Now is the perfect time to start getting your garden ready for those cooler months.

Garden jobs for April:

  • Fertilise with Seaweed Concentrate
  • Pull those weeds!
  • Start preparing garden beds by adding compost and mulch.
  • Water Smart! It’s best to water first thing in the morning, to give your soil a chance to absorb all of the moisture before the sun reaches its peak.
  • Top up your gardens with mulch, it looks great and helps with water retention!

What to grow in April:

  • Alyssum
  • Calendula
  • Delphinium
  • Forget Me Not
  • Lobelia
  • Pansy
  • Snapdragon
