August in the Garden
Spring is just around the corner and that makes August the perfect month to start waking up your garden.
Garden jobs for August:
- Cool days are perfect for fixing up your garden tools – try giving them a sharpen or an oil to keep them at their best!
- Top up your mulch – keep your soil nice and warm in this chilly weather.
- Time for a good pruning.
- Consider some crop rotation to give your garden beds a break and rejuvenate the soil. Plant Wheat, Lablab or Chickpea for a season to give back some much needed nutrients.
