August in the Garden

August things to grow

Spring is just around the corner and that makes August the perfect month to start waking up your garden.

Garden jobs for August:

  • Cool days are perfect for fixing up your garden tools – try giving them a sharpen or an oil to keep them at their best!
  • Top up your mulch – keep your soil nice and warm in this chilly weather.
  • Time for a good pruning.
  • Consider some crop rotation to give your garden beds a break and rejuvenate the soil. Plant Wheat, Lablab or Chickpea for a season to give back some much needed nutrients.
